In the 'Butterflies' series, I explore transformation, pain, love, and the delicate nature of being. Like the butterfly, we endure transformation through pain, and our beauty is fleeting, fragile. It captures this ephemerality, just as the human spirit is drawn to what is beautiful but fleeting.

In this series, I also paint a group of moths, which I call 'Black Butterflies' – drawn to a false light, just as we are often consumed by desires we don’t fully understand. This deceptive light burns us, and the moths, like humans, risk everything for a beauty that consumes.
